If you are setting up a company abroad from India, “fast registration” can mean two different things: how quickly the government issues a certificate, and how quickly your business can actually start operating. The first depends largely on the filing system. The second also depends on directors, licences, banking and funding from India.
These ten countries follow the order in the image. It is a list of potentially fast registration routes, not a measured ranking of the ten shortest processing times. Here is what makes each one efficient—and what an Indian founder should check before applying.
1. United Kingdom
Why it can be fast: Digital Companies House filing
Companies House accepts online applications and says a company is usually registered within 24 hours. For a founder with the company name, address, directors and ownership details ready, the filing itself can be relatively quick.
What to prepare: Directors may need identity verification and a Companies House personal code. Complete that step before treating the 24-hour registration estimate as your total setup timeline.
2. Hong Kong
Why it can be fast: One-stop e-incorporation
Hong Kong’s e-Services Portal handles company incorporation and business registration together. For a straightforward electronic application for a private company limited by shares, the Companies Registry says the certificates are normally issued within one hour. That is a processing expectation for an eligible, complete filing—not a promise that the business will be ready to trade in an hour.
What to prepare: Settle the company name, registered address and company secretary arrangements early. A name requiring further review can take the application outside the straightforward route.

3. Singapore
Why it can be fast: Centralised Bizfile platform
Singapore’s Bizfile takes the applicant through company details, shareholders, officers, controllers, share capital and the constitution in one digital workflow. This makes the submission process orderly when all parties and documents are ready. A corporate service provider can also file the registration.
What to prepare: Confirm who will fill the required company roles and how the registered address will be provided. A fast portal cannot resolve an incomplete ownership or officer arrangement.
4. United Arab Emirates
Why it can be fast: Digital licensing in some zones
The UAE offers online setup routes, including digital systems for certain business licences. The right route depends on the emirate, free zone and activity. Choosing an activity covered by a streamlined process may save time; choosing the wrong licence can create problems after registration.
What to prepare: Decide where and how the company will operate before selecting a licence package. Check any activity-specific approvals as part of that decision.

5. Estonia
Why it can be fast: Online filing with an e-Residency ID
Estonia’s e-Residency gives eligible founders a digital identity to authenticate themselves and sign documents online. Once the ID and company arrangements are in place, incorporation can be handled remotely—a practical advantage for a founder based in India.
What to prepare: Account for the e-Residency application itself, a legal address and any required contact person. Those preparatory steps sit outside the online company filing.

6. United States
Why it can be fast: Online filing in selected states
US businesses register with state authorities, and online filing is available through selected state processes. This can make forming a company efficient once the state and business structure are chosen. There is no single nationwide incorporation timeline to quote.
What to prepare: Check the registered agent, the location where you will operate, and the licences or registrations that activity requires. A federal tax ID may also be needed after formation.
7. Canada
Why it can be fast: Online federal incorporation
Corporations Canada provides an online filing route for federal corporations. Its published service information allows founders to check the applicable processing option before submitting, which is more useful than relying on a broad “instant incorporation” claim.
What to prepare: Decide where the company will conduct business. Federal incorporation is one step; any registration needed in a province or territory must also be considered.
8. Ireland
Why it can be fast: Streamlined online filing
Ireland’s Companies Registration Office uses CORE for electronic entity registration and document submission. It reduces reliance on paper handling and lets applicants track filings through the system. Processing still depends on the application and the Registry’s workload.
What to prepare: Confirm the company type, directors and filing documents before submission. Ireland’s online process helps most when the underlying application is complete.

9. New Zealand
Why it can be fast: Online Companies Register
New Zealand’s Companies Register lets applicants reserve a name and submit an incorporation application online. The process also supports related tax registration steps.
What to prepare: This is a significant qualification for Indian founders: a New Zealand company needs at least one director living in New Zealand, or an eligible Australia-based director. Without that person in place, online filing will not make setup quick.

10. Australia
Why it can be fast: Digital ASIC registration
Australia provides a digital company registration route through its Business Registration Service and ASIC processes. Founders can prepare and submit company information online.
What to prepare: An Australian proprietary company must have at least one director who lives in Australia. Establish that arrangement before comparing Australia’s digital filing speed with other countries.

Final Thought
The fastest filing route is useful only when you can meet its conditions. For a founder in India, Hong Kong’s electronic certificates or the UK’s online processing may be attractive; New Zealand and Australia require more planning around directors. Choose the country where registration, lawful operations and ongoing obligations fit the business you intend to build.
